STOCKHOLM, 12 May – Nordomatic, the leading independent BMS provider in the Nordics is taking its next step in its successful European expansion strategy by the acquisition of Y-con, a quality BMS-provider in the Netherlands which also has a presence in Belgium.
Toke Kjaer Juul, VICE CEO of Nordomatic, says “Y-con is a great company with a strong installed customer base. This acquisition will be a great addition in establishing Nordomatic as Global BMS-player.”
Y-con was established in 2005 and has office in Tilburg, with approximately 30 employees.
“We are very happy to become a part of the Nordomatic Group. This will give our customers an even better partner and we get the resources to venture into cloud based-services for BMS, something Nordomatic has already done successfully in the Nordics. Cloud based-services are the future of BMS, and we are very excited to take on this future as a part of Nordomatic” says Lyon van Hest, CEO of Y-con.
Nordomatic wants to become the Global leader in BMS-solutions and Smart Buildings. Y-con is located in the fast-growing Benelux region with a 15-year track record, and an outstanding management team. The company is a pioneer within managed BMS and has a strong interest in cloud based-services. Earlier this spring, Nordomatic expanded to the UK through the acquisition of Spica, and, with the addition of Y-con, Nordomatic is making good progress on its Global growth strategy.
Toke Kjær Juul concludes: “The next step is to scale up this acquisition through a successful integration of Y-con into the Nordomatic Group. Apart from keeping serving the customers and looking for opportunities in Cloud based-services in Benelux, we also see great potential in growing our service offering”.
